Odunlade Adekola biography and net worth
 Odunlade Adekola is a Nigerian actor, filmmaker, singer, director, and producer, who was born on the 31st day of December 1978 in Ogun State. He had his primary education at St John’s primary school and did his secondary school at St Peters College in Abeokuta. He then went on to study at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic where he got his Diploma certificate. He is the CEO of (Odunlade Adekola Film Production) OAFP.
He started acting at a young age and loved to act as a jester in his church with his friend. He would always demand for a short time to act as a jester with his friend whenever there was an anniversary holding in his church (the Christ Apostolic church Lafenwa Abeokuta) and was always given the opportunity to do so. He and his friend will then structure out a play involving two characters, which the both of them would perform. This act molded him into the man he is today. The actor has currently featured in over a hundred Yoruba movies.
In 1996 Odunlade joined the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners, the same year he became a professional actor. He was mentored and tutored by Nollywood actor and producer Ishola Durojaiye who is also known as Ahmed ALASARI who is currently late, he died on March 20, 2011, in a fatal car accident on his way from Lagos to Abeokuta. The late actor had produced, directed and scripted a number of Nigerian movies before passing away. He helped in influencing Odunlade’s career and helped him become the man he is today.

Odunlade has currently produced and directed a couple of Nigerian movies, and is currently reaching greater heights with his works and has got a large amount of fan base all over Nigeria especially the Yoruba people who can easily relate with his works. In April 2014 he won the African Movie Academy Award, where he was acknowledged as the best actor of the year, along with Faitha Balogun who emerged as the best actress of the year. Due to his impact and popularity in the movie industry, he has been able to build up a relationship with top-rated musicians in Nigeria. he worked with Olamide in 2016 in the video of his hit single” I LOVE LAGOS” and in 2017 he worked with Reminisce in the video of his hit single “Ponmile”.
He has a lot of awards to his name such as the City People Entertainment Awards (the best actor of the year 2009, 2011, 2014, and 2015.) Gen Chochona Tallest Award 1901, The African Magic Movie Award for Best Actor, and The African Magic Movie Award for Best Existing Actor in the movie Pepeye Meje.
Odunlade Adekola is happily married to Ruth Adekola who he met at the beginning of the year in 2003, and since then have been living happily together and they are currently blessed with four children all Boys. His current net worth is estimated at $1.9 million which makes him the richest Yoruba actor currently in Nigeria.
